What's Happening in Japan: Fashion

Hello~!

I'm sorry followers. T__T I've been a bad blogger, I'm not updating as often as I'd like... So I've decided to start a new, easy-to-write segment to my blog called "What's Happening in Japan".  It will have different sub-categories like fashion, food, and general goings-on. I'm basically going to add to it as I go. ^__^

So, what's happening in Japan, fashion-wise? Well, Summer is a great time of year for Japanese fashion, and I've been really enjoying the June issue of Popsister. Tsubasa featured a lot this month, modeling Rodeo Crowns, Barbie t-shirts and there was even a section about her Twitter, which is very frequently updated let me tell you. O___O I love you Tsubasa, but it's come close to you just spamming my Twitter page! Anyway, back to fashion....

I really liked the make up section, as all the girls were sporting very minimalist, natural make-up, which of course is prefect for the up coming season. I loved that they all had a similar look, but with different brands. One girl wore mostly Dollywink/Candydoll, and the next girl looked similar, but used mostly Melliesh. I think that's a good way to promote the cheaper, but equally good quality brands.

On the clothing side of things, bright accessories seem to be popular and, of course, denim. ^__^ A lot of denim shorts, skirts, overalls and even dresses featured in Popsister too. I think that denim shorts are always an option to fall back on in the Summer months. >.<

There are a lot of patterns this season too mainly florals, spots and stripes. All are very brightly coloured, which is obviously what you want in the Summer!

So that's it! I hope you enjoyed it. ^_^ I'd love to know what you think, if you'd like to see more of these or something else all together. I also have a YouTube channel already, so would you like me to make videos?

Speak to you soon~!
